The Summer Beer Festival is fast approaching and we’re quietly confident that this year’s line-up is one of our best yet.

Alex and Rick have been hard at work selecting beers from some of the country’s most exciting breweries, with cask pours from Goffs, Newbarns, Thornbridge, Metalhead, Ideal and Wiper & True, alongside keg beers from Track, Polly’s, Kernel and Black Iris. Whether your tastes lean traditional, modern, hazy, hoppy or somewhere in between, there should be plenty to keep your glass full.

Meanwhile, Danny has once again taken charge of the cider selection, bringing together a line-up that showcases just how exciting modern cider can be. We’ll be pouring ciders from Newton Court in Herefordshire, Luke’s Vintage in Suffolk and Perry’s of Somerset, offering everything from bright, fresh orchard character to deeper, more complex expressions for the cider aficionados among you.

Naturally, no beer festival is complete without good food. Azure Wood Fired Pizza joins us on Thursday 25th June, with Temperley’s Street Food taking over on Saturday 27th June, ensuring nobody goes hungry between pints.

Then on Sunday, DJ Lisa will be providing the soundtrack as we ease into the final day. Expect a suitably laid-back vinyl session to round off the weekend, although where the records eventually take us is anyone’s guess.
